I know what it feels like. That's why I do this.
In 2016, my life changed in ways I never expected.
A road traffic accident left me with a central disc prolapse and severe lumbar back pain. What followed was a long and difficult road — facet joint injections, central nerve sensitisation, and eventually a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. At my worst, everyday life felt like something I had to fight through rather than live.
I tried the conventional routes. But it was Pilates — quiet, gentle, intentional movement — that began to give me back my body. One session at a time, I started to rebuild. The pain became manageable. Then manageable became something close to freedom.
That experience changed everything. I trained as a Pilates teacher, then in trigger point therapy, and began to understand deeply how the body holds tension, pain and trauma — and how it can, with the right support, begin to let it go.
HONESTY & EVOLUTION
My health journey hasn't stopped there. I'm now navigating perimenopause, osteoarthritis and asthma — and every new chapter teaches me something new about resilience, adaptation, and the extraordinary capacity we have to heal.
I have always believed in supporting the body naturally, addressing root causes rather than masking symptoms. Not because I dismiss medicine — sometimes it saves lives and I am grateful for it — but because I have seen, in myself and in others, what the body can do when it is truly supported.
Needing work that could flex around my own health is part of what led me to self employment. And it turns out that the thing I needed most — a practitioner who truly understood chronic pain, fatigue and the complexity of living in a difficult body — was exactly what I was best placed to become.
THE CELEBRANT CONNECTION
Alongside my wellness work, I am also an independent celebrant. I have stood with families at weddings, namings and the most tender of farewells, carrying that same quality of presence and care into every wellness session I offer.
Chapters of Life has always been about the moments that matter. Now it holds space for the journey in between those moments too.

CLOSING
If you are living with chronic pain, exhaustion, stress or the kind of persistent tension that nobody else seems to quite understand — I want you to know that I get it. Not theoretically. Not from a textbook.
From the inside.
I built Chapters of Life for people like me. People who are done with being told to just manage it. People who are ready to feel genuinely better — in their bodies, in their minds, and in their lives.
If that's you, I would love to support you x
